Freyou, Moore and Associates, Inc, has been providing a diverse range of services since our founding in 1982. It is our mission to provide high quality civil engineering and land surveying services to municipal and private clients to improve the constructed infrastructure of our community. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to work with the elected officials of out local government entities as well as various private sector clients in the construction of their civil works projects.

Company

Simon J. Freyou founded the company as Simon J. Freyou and Associates, Inc,. in 1982.

David Moore has served as  Owner and President of Freyou, Moore and Associates, Inc. since 2004.

History

Simon J. Freyou founded the company in 1982. Simon had previously been employed at Kingston Construction where he worked on many construction projects throughout Iberia Parish and the Acadiana Region. In 1982 he formed his own consulting engineering business as Simon J. Freyou and Associates, Inc. The firm was located on Freyou Road.

Over the next several years, Simon built a successful engineering and surveying business and employed various staff members to complete the companies' projects. In 2002, David Moore became a partner in the firm and the name of the company was changed to Freyou, Moore and Associates, Inc. In 2004, Simon Freyou retired from the business, which was purchased by David Moore.

The company continued at the Freyou Road location for a few more years. In April 2007, the company moved it's location to the present offices at 1833 East Main Street in New Iberia.
